The team behind the campaign to help Ronald L. Sanford

The team behind the campaign to help support, and hopefully, free Ronald are a bunch of like minded individuals who came together with a set of skills that they could use to help build this campaign into something. In our set teams we are currently working hard to get the ball rolling, and we are doing well!
The teams within the group are as follows..

Family liaison
Legal research
Fundraising
PR & Communications
Support Engagement
Political/Celebrity lobbying
Campaign Strategy

I will be updating this blog with important news of how the campaign is going & what we are all doing during this process. Due to the nature of the case, sometimes blog posts may be sporadically, that doesn't mean that following this blog isn't important if you want to keep up to date with what is happening behind the scenes!
Please, If you haven't already go and sign the petition here. We are at 1,050 signatures which is a fantastic amount of support, I truly thank you if you've already signed. We're hoping to get 10,000 people to sign so if you haven't already, do it now.

Thank you.

  2. My name is samara and I am britsish. After watching Trevor McDonald's docunebtary and seeing Sanfords case my world view has been completely rocked. Sanford has transformed from a mindless youngster to a real man. Living in Britain I see the same transformation as an 1& year old girl. Many boys my age have a violent mentality and do not fear consequences however I have seen the transform into real mature men. After learning from the consequences. I believe if someone held a conversation with Sanford oblivious to his past they would think he was a regular well rounded knowledgable man. And I don't think anyone can doubt that. The man has spent 25 years essentially a life sentence. It's time for him to prove to us he is no longer a mindless young boy. I think everyone must know this deep Down. I would really appreciate it if you could email me to keep me updated on the case!

  3. There seems to be a series of non-existent links (ie the petition) and a lack of leadership in this campaign online? I'd like to help but am finding it difficult to get the most up-to-date information.

  7. Is this page still active?? This is why someone like Ronald Sanford still sits in prison today. He continues to get "lost" in the system. I can not get my head around the US justice system. It is just barbaric that a man who committed a crime when he was only a CHILD is still paying the price. He was a thirteen year old BOY. This is insane. What judicial system imposes a 170 year prison sentence on a CHILD? That is a crime within itself. And where are all the defence lawyers for this man? Did he ever appeal his sentence? I just can't understand how something like this is allowed to happen in the first place, and how it is allowed to continue? This man has served more than his fair share of time. Enough is enough, this man needs to be released so he can regain his life!!! This is unspeakable injustice!!!!
